Can you get a certified translation the same day?
Yes, even the same day. We do a certified translation of up to four documents within 12 hours for $15 a page on top of the regular price, or within 3 hours for $30 a page; the 3 hours turnaround is for orders paid between 8 am and 6 pm Pacific time. The turnarounds
Turnaround starts when you pay. A regular order of up to four documents is ready within 24 hours. Faster, there are two options: 12 hours and 3 hours. We do the 3 hours turnaround for orders paid between 8 am and 6 pm Pacific time, so the translation reaches you by email the same day. For five documents or more, we give the turnaround with the quote.

What it costs
A rush order adds a surcharge for each page on top of the regular price: $15 for 12 hours, $30 for 3 hours. The regular price is $25 for the first page of up to 250 words and $20 for each additional page. For example:
- a one-page birth certificate: $40 within 12 hours, $55 within 3 hours;
- a marriage certificate and two birth certificates, a page each: $110 within 12 hours, that is $65 plus $15 for each of the three pages; $155 within 3 hours.
There is no extra charge for stamps, handwriting or weekends, the same as for a regular order.
What stays the same
Speed is the only difference. USCIS asks for a full English translation with the translator’s certification that the translation is complete and accurate and that the translator is competent to translate (8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) (opens in a new tab)). A same-day translation meets that rule the same way as any other:
- every field, stamp, seal and handwritten line is translated, and a word that can’t be read is marked [illegible] instead of guessed;
- names are spelled the way you give them from your international passport;
- the signed certificate with the translator’s name, address and phone is included;
- you get one PDF with the original, the translation and the certificate.
When it helps
People ask for same-day when a deadline is close: a Request for Evidence (RFE) with a response date, an interview, a court hearing, a filing deadline. If your deadline is a few days away, a regular order is usually enough.
